Lab Leaked Beats is hosting their inaugural event, promising to deliver a quality, underground electronic music experience, joyous connections, and a thumping sound system on October 22.
The underground electronic music fans of the Northern Rivers have typically been limited to festivals or long drives to large city venues to get their fix. This gap in the local scene is what prompted the team behind Lab Leaked Beats to create a new, local experience. Inspired by incredible festival line-ups, Lab Leaked Beats has curated a very special night of underground music to deliver a unique experience to the local community.
“It’s time we brought the scene to the upper Northern Rivers” says Glenn, one of the organisers. “This area has been pretty starved when it comes to quality electronic music events.”
Serving up delectable deep house, techno, and funky bass, the line-up boasts renowned artists Taglo, Smish, Rogan J and Native Dog. Like a snapshot from a festival line-up, this event is an opportunity to experience these artists up-close and personal and in a more intimate space. And of the space, the event will be held on the balcony of the Murwillumbah Golf Club where guests can expect views of the picturesque golf course and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains including the nearby Mount Warning National Park. No stone has been left unturned when it comes to delighting the senses, and punters can expect a lush high-quality sound system, live performances, and sunset views in a comfortable undercover but open-air space.
A courtesy bus will be running to the venue for locals which can be booked by calling the club direct. Lab Leaked Beats is on Saturday 22 October from 5pm to 11pm after which the event will run monthly. Get there early to make the most of the majestic location. Tickets are $35 online or $40 on the door if not sold out. This is an 18+ event.
