When it comes to club-ready tech bangers, Jamie Lowe knows how to deliver. The Lennox Head local turned heads back in 2019 with high rotation play on Triple J unearthed with tracks 'Make Her Move' and 'Destroy'. After a brief hiatus from making music, Jamie has returned with a bang, releasing a three-track EP titled "Pills" under Gold Coast independent record label Sorta Kinda Music this week.

The "Pills" EP showcases Jamie Lowe's undeniable talent and serves as a testament to his growth as an artist and has already garnered the attention of Tech House guru Chris Lake, and immediate entry into the ARIA Club Charts last week.

Kicking off the EP is the eponymous track, "Pills," which sets the tone with its deep, distorted bassline and relentless groove. Jamie's meticulous attention to detail shines through as he expertly blends driving percussion, lowkey spoken vocals, and howling siren synths, reminiscent of the hard-hitting sounds that put him on the map in the first place. "Pills" is guaranteed to ignite dance floors with its infectious energy and relatable hook, "I just wanna dance".

Next up is "All That, is an absolute gem that club DJs need to have in their arsenal. This track is tailor-made for the dance floor. Jamie Lowe works cool percussive elements into the track with a funky tech bassline groove that will be an undeniable crowd pleaser.

Catering to the broken beat enthusiasts, and completeing the EP is the Skitzoid Jungle Remix of "Pills". Brisbane Bass producer Skitzoid's take on the original track takes it into uncharted territory, infusing it with hypnotic percussion, sleek vocal chops, and captivating synth stabs. The heavy 808 bass adds depth and intensity, creating a refreshing jungle take on the original track. Skitzoid's remix offers a fresh perspective on the two tech house offerings in the EP.

Jamie Lowe's "Pills" EP is a triumphant return for the talented up-and-coming producer, showcasing his growth and ability to create music that resonates with dance-floors, as evidenced by an invitation to play for the third time at Byron Bay festival Splendour In The Grass.

Jamie Lowe's "Pills" EP is a solid addition to a club or festival set, gym or dance playlist with three energising and uplifting dance tracks.
