This Week's Playlist – Week 2, April 2025

This is one of those weeks where we genuinely loved every track.
Our guitar-playing psytrance producer — and previous EMA guest writerJulien returned with his latest single Psy String Theory, and it’s a vibe.
We also stumbled upon HALOUMI not just a cheese, but a Sydney producer whose track Digital Bullets is basically a frog in a sock on an espresso martini bender. Embrace the chaos.
We test-drove the new EP from Haptic, Synthetic Shamanism, and accidentally summoned a forest spirit. Highly recommend for when you wanna hex your ex but also shake your ass.
And just to keep things interesting, the show closes out with a dose of hip hop. So strap in and enjoy the ride.

Track of the Week: Trust in Me by DJ Tr!p
It was always going to be tough to pick a standout this week with so many great tunes on the list. But Adelaide producer DJ Tr!p takes the coveted spot with Trust in Me.
We’ve been playing DJ Tr!p’s tracks for a good while now, and loving every step of the journey as his eclectic and entirely unique style continues to develop — and blow my tiny mind. This one’s no exception.
