In case you are new to EMA, the third week of the month is always a big one as I have the two-hour episode on Red Rebel FM in addition to the two shows on Aussie radio. Red Rebel FM is an initiative by Lisa Higgins, a DJ and PMS and PMDD practitioner, that showcases women and non-binary underground DJs and producers. I feel really privileged to have come on very early on at the start of this station and truly value being a part of it. I would encourage you to check them out. Last week we also published our first ever industry survey. As EMA moves forward in its mission to support the Aussie electronic music scene and the people within it, I would encourage anyone who is involved in the Australian electronic music scene to share your opinion as it will directly shape the next steps here at EMA. It only takes a few minutes to complete and is completely confidential if you want it to be.
This week also marks the end of these weekly playlist posts in this format. While I'm eager to ensure the playlists are online and accessible for all to see the amazing artists we feature, I'm still exploring the best way to do that. Of course, if you find yourself devestated about that and want these posts to continue, feel free to let me know.
