This Week's Playlist – Week 3, June 2025

This week we traversed some quality indie electronica with the Gold Coast’s HARLEY GIRL, the ever-cool Winston Surfshirt, and even our Track of the Week leaned more pop than club — and we’re not mad about it.

I don't know if Go Freek and The Night Slug intended their house track Let’s Work to be taken as literally as I did, but it went straight into my gym playlist. I basically started doing reps as soon as I hit play. So if you’re looking for inspo to get out from under your blankey and into your lycra while we still have time to prepare for summer, there it is. You're welcome.

Sydney rave pioneer Peewee Ferris returned last week with a 2025 refresh of his absolutely massive 1996 rave track Time To Make the Floor Burn, and honestly, we’re here for it.

And have you heard of Tek Hazy? Blending elements of techno, progressive house, ambient and breakbeats, this Perth artist is definitely on our radar now. His Other Side Mix of 'Metis' closed out the show, and we’ll be digging deeper into his catalogue for sure.
