I'm super excited to bring you the April guest mix, and it's a very special mix from Sydney's Che Jose. I may have accidentally messed up the file names meaning that the mix was aired on the wrong night. Oops! I hope you'll forgive me for the mix-up and enjoy Che Jose's masterful meander through electronic genres of progressive house, melodic house, techno, and trance.
Che Jose effortlessly blends various electronic genres. His music has been released under labels like Armada, Siona, Enormous Tunes, Flash Over, Sirup, Pillar, and he has received support from heavyweights including David Guetta, Armin Van Burren, Above & Beyond, Nicky Romero, Korolova, Nora En Pure, Ferry Corsten, Miss Monique and Artbat, to name a few.
With a passion for music that began at an early age, Jose has spent years honing his craft and building a fan base around the world. Born in Adelaide, Che Jose began playing the piano at the age of six. By the time he was a teenager, he had already discovered electronic dance music and was spending countless hours mastering the art of DJing. In 2009, Jose's hard work and dedication paid off when he won a national DJ competition, setting him on his musical path.

I'm still gobsmacked at the weekend's Club Cactus Vol 2. album launch party by Sorta Kinda Music! It was an amazing turnout, incredible music and the vibes (and cocktails were on point). I'm so stoked to have been able to be a part of this event. Here's Rabbits On Saturn between the cacti delivering an electrifying hybrid live set. While I fully process the night, here's a pic by ONE + ONE Photography.
