The March Guest Mix With Daniel Cuda

Electronic Music Australia ep.51 aired 21 March 2023

This episode fell on the Autumn equinox, where the day and night are of equal length and it's the start of the astrological new year. Apparently it was a good time astrologically, but I don't really understand that stuff. Let's run with the positive vibe anyway, and hopefully the final days of March are treating you well.

Things are great here at EMA HQ, and how can they not be with guest mixes like the March guest mix from Melbourne's Daniel Cuda!?

Daniel is a producer, DJ, and label owner with over a decade of creation under his belt. He's carved out his own niche with his unique style of minimal tech house that is pumping through clubs all over the world. He draws influence from avant-garde musicians of many genres, including Skream and Armand Van Helden as well as Dylan and Cash, as he continues to experiment with unconventional sound production with distinctive and classic sounds. Daniel has tracks signed to Toolroom, Circus, Snatch, and Glasgow Underground. He climbed Beatport's Minimal/Deep Tech main chart, reaching 11 and his recent release 'THE ISLAND (Latour's Dance On C mix)' has been in the ARIA Club Chart top 50 for seven weeks now, peaking at #13. Daniel has two record label projects on the go; Milk Crate and Wasted Music. Daniel is a regular in Melbourne clubs so make sure you follow Daniel on all the socials to catch where he's playing next.

Keeping it short and sweet this week so that I can keep working on all the things. HUGE thank you to Daniel Cuda for a great guest mix and chat. I've got a brilliant guest artist lined up for April, you just wait! Make sure Electronic Music Australia on the socials or subscribe to EMA so you don't miss an update. I'll be back on Tuesday night at 11pm AEST on 105.7 Radio Metro.
